Priscila Pancorbo joined the Office for Regional Conference Ministries (ORCM) on August 13, 2024, bringing with her over a decade of experience in journalism and media production. Born in Gijón, Spain, Pancorbo has lived in multiple countries, including three years in Mexico and five years in Argentina, enriching her personal and professional life with diverse cultural insights. These global experiences have shaped her approach to storytelling, which is rooted in understanding different perspectives.
Pancorbo holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Journalism from Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia, Spain. Her media career began in 2007, during which she worked in various roles across television and radio. She expanded her expertise behind the scenes as a news producer at TVE, Spain’s national public broadcaster. Pancorbo gained recognition as a host of television programs on Hope TV, a religious broadcasting network, and as a news anchor for RTVV, a regional television station. Notably, she hosted and produced the radio program Informativo Social for Adventist Radio in Spain, which aired weekly and focused on positive, uplifting stories.
In 2013, Mrs. Pancorbo relocated to the United States with her husband, Gerson Pancorbo, beginning their new life in Berrien Springs, Michigan. The family later moved to Columbus, Ohio, before settling in Huntsville, Alabama, where they currently reside. Mrs. Pancorbo is a devoted mother of two young children: Shiloh (6 years old) and Genesis (3 years old), who are part of the Oakwood family.
Bringing her extensive media expertise to ORCM, Priscila will assist as the Building Usage Coordinator and Website Content Manager. Mrs. Pancorbo will serve in these dual roles, leveraging her broad media background to enhance the organization’s communication efforts and improve operational efficiency. Her experience in both journalism and digital media makes her a valuable addition to the ORCM team, where she will play a key role in shaping its online presence and managing building resources.
Outside of her professional work, Mrs. Pancorbo enjoys spending time with her family and taking walks outdoors, a practice that keeps her grounded amidst her busy schedule. Her favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:13—”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”—encapsulates the faith and resilience she brings to every aspect of her life, from her career to her family.
