Dr. Ernest E. Rogers was the first full-time professor of biblical languages at Oakwood University (then Oakwood College). His service to the Seventh-day Adventist Church spanned more than 60 years as a professor and a pastor. Dr. Rogers is fondly remembered as a mentor who inspired students to excellence and Christian service.
