The FYI: Forever Young and Independent program has been in development since June 2024, from the initial concept, to acquiring volunteers, and developing a program format the program is officially up and running and gaining momentum.

The program is available to the public every Wednesday from 10am to 2pm. This initiative promotes intellectual stimulation through participation in board game activities, creative expressions of art, and learning new skills through training presentations. These activities increase mental stimulation that help lower the chances of dementia and cognitive decline. Physical essentials are addressed through chair exercises and chair massages which promote muscle development and stress relief. There have been approximately more than 75 people who have been blessed with our program. The average weekly attendance is more than 20 retirees.

The goal is to create an environment that will assist those in their latter stage of life with activities, information, and community support that will help in various aspects of life. In addition to all the other things that this program has to offer we also supply refreshments.
