New Staff Members at ORCM/RCRP

The brand new Charles E. Dudley, Sr. Center for Regional Conference Ministries has some brand new employees! Let’s meet them:

Gerson Pancorbo, Communications Director, Office for Regional Conference Ministries (ORCM)/Regional Conference Retirement Plan (RCRP)

Gerson Pancorbo is a native of Jaen, Spain. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in audiovisual communications from Valencia University.

He has approximately 15 years of experience in the AV field, which includes experience both inside and outside of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He discovered that he had a passion for using the skills which God gifted him to be of service to his church. So his denominational service commenced; first, in his native Spain-in the Communications Department in the Spanish Union.

Upon coming to the United States, he served as a Project Leader in the Pan de Vida Ministry. From there, he was called to the Allegheny West Conference in 2019, to serve as the Visual Ministry Specialist/Communications Director.

He arrived just in time to lead the conference into doing something they had never done before, but now had to do because of the pandemic-live stream 10 days of Camp Meeting. Allegheny West was the first Regional Conference to do so. They were excited to discover that they could reach far more people online than had attended Camp Meeting in person.

Brother Pancorbo revamped the Allegheny West website and created the television studio at the conference office. He also developed a new app for the conference.

He is married to Priscila Buituron, also of Spain. They are the parents of 2 young children, Shiloh and Genesis.

Mrs. Margaret Weathers, Executive Assistant, ORCM

Mrs. Weathers is a native of Kruger, Mississippi, which is in the Mississippi Delta, near Greenwood. She is the 3rd of 9 children.

She became a Seventh-day Adventist in 1979, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the first Seventh-day Adventist in her family. But through her witness, the Lord was able to use her to win her husband, two of her sisters, two sisters in law and a cousin to His remnant church.

She holds a degree in Business Management, with a speciality in Human Resources (HR), from American Intercontinental University in Schaumburg, Illinois.

She comes to this position with over 30 years experience in administrative support in both the medical field and in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She began her denominational service in the South Central Conference in 2002, as the Administrative Assistant to the then Conference Secretary, Elder D.C. Edmond.

After serving in that position for 7 years, she was asked to serve as the first HR Director for the South Central Conference. After pioneering in that position for several years, she returned to her native Mississippi to care for her mother in the final years of her life.

She has been married to her husband, Wendell Weathers, of Schlage’s, Mississippi, for 46 years. They are the parents of 4 adult children, and 9 grandchildren.

Her service at ORCM begins on March 1.
