The Central States Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (CSC) announces that Kelley Taylor Paris, who has faithfully served as Conference Treasurer, has accepted a new position as the Chief Financial Officer for the Regional Conference Retirement Plan in Huntsville, Alabama. While the administration will deeply miss her leadership, they accept this opportunity as God’s calling for her next chapter in ministry.

Kelley will begin orientation for her new position later this year and will officially assume her new role next year. Her final day with the Central States Conference has not yet been determined, allowing time to ensure a smooth transition for the Conference’s financial leadership and ongoing ministries.

During her tenure at CSC, Kelley provided exceptional leadership in financial management, planning, and stewardship. Her dedication strengthened the Conference’s ability to serve its churches and members across the region.

Elder Cryston Josiah, President of The Central States Conference expressed, “We are extremely grateful and thankful for the tremendous blessing Sis. Paris has been to our Conference, specifically in making us a financially stronger entity. Subsequently, even though she will be deeply missed personally and professionally, we are happy for her and her family, as she will eventually take up her new assignment as the Chief Financial Officer for the Regional Conference Retirement Plan.

Our CSC Administration has already deliberated and will be implementing a transition strategy during this time, so that the best financial interest of our conference is well served. Please keep us in your prayers and we continue to stay mission-driven in helping to finish the work in the Central States vineyard.”

Elder Joseph Ikner, Vice President of Administration, shared, “Kelley has been a trusted partner and an integral part of our team. Her professionalism and faith-filled leadership have made a lasting impact, and though we are sad to see her go, we celebrate God’s calling on her life.”

Reflecting on her service, Kelley stated, “It has been a privilege to serve the Central States Conference. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with such dedicated colleagues and members. I trust God’s leading in this next role and look forward to continuing to serve His church.”

The Central States Conference administration expresses its heartfelt appreciation to Kelley for her years of service and wishes her God’s guidance and blessings as she embarks on this new ministry.
