The annual Society of Adventist Communicators (SAC) convention was held this year in Chicago from October 17-19, 2024, at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center. This event is always a perfect space to connect with colleagues, friends, and future communicators. Among the workshops offered in this edition we found podcasting, visual storytelling, graphic design, photography and AI.

At this year’s convention, the Society of Adventist Communicators elected JeNean Lendor, Communication Director for the Lake Region Conference, as SAC’s new president. We are excited to see her vision and passion in action. Joining the new board members is another regional communications director, LaTasha Hewitt from the Allegheny East Conference, elected as the representative for Marketing and PR. We congratulate both leaders, confident they will inspire and lead SAC well in the coming year.
