Chief Investment Officer
The Regional Conference Retirement Plan (RCRP) is excited to announce an opening for a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at our esteemed organization. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely from Monday to Thursday, with required travel for special meetings. The compensation for this position is competitive, commensurate with experience, and includes benefits aligned with our church’s retirement plan.
Role Overview: Under the guidance of the RCRP Board of Trustees, the CIO will lead the execution of RCRP’s investment strategy and coordinate the operations of the Board. The CIO will manage our investment portfolio to achieve our financial goals and ensure compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement investment strategies in line with the RCRP’s policies.
- Collaborate with consultants to conduct asset/liability studies and manage public market and private investment portfolios.
- Provide comprehensive reports on portfolio performance, risk management, and investment opportunities to the Board of Trustees.
- Serve as a key liaison among trustees, investment consultants, and other external partners.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree and CFA certification are preferred.
- At least ten years of experience in institutional investment, with a strong background in managing defined benefit plans.
- Proven leadership skills and a deep understanding of investment, finance, and economic principles.
